It was FREEZING (literally we were under a freeze warning that morning). I had 2-3 layers on me during the morning run. And they had us run through water, which made my feet so stiff and numb! After the race I had a hard time warming up until my 5k Spartan Sprint which I did with my son, Antonio.
On the trail run I did 59 min and 41 seconds and that placed me 4th in my age group. Slowly moving up and into podium contention. But would have had to drop more than 2 min from my run to place this time around.
